Glenn Heights’ small beginnings have led to a thriving city with a small town feel. In the 1960s, a local firefighter decided to open a mobile home park in the area that is now Glenn Heights, which soon drew 257 residents. To save his business from being annexed by Dallas, this firefighter fought for Glenn Height’s incorporation. Now Glenn Heights has grown to a population of 7,200.
